Karthika Nair enters into Television industry?

Bollywood director Goldie Behl delivered average movies in the past few years like Drona, London Paris New York and I Me Aur Main which did less than expected business at the box office. Hence the maker has decided to venture into TV serial field. He will be directing a TV Series for Star Plus channel with Kollywood actress Karthika Nair as the main lead.

The Ko heroine on the other hand did not get good recognition in Tamil cine industry after a couple of debacles in the recent past. Through this serial, she will make debut to television industry. Further the series will have the Baahubali & Bajrangi Bhaijaan writer and the father of ace director Rajamouli, Vijayendra Prasad penning the script.

A source close to the team also reveal that the director will shoot a pilot scene for the show shortly with the lead actors. Actor Rajneesh Duggal of Ek Paheli Leela fame will play the male lead opposite Karthika. But the director Goldie says that Karthika has not yet been finalised and if lucky, she might come on board with them.
