Dhanush’s Kodi release date

Dhanush has the release of several movies in this year and one among them is Kodi directed by Durai Senthilkumar. Touted to be a political drama with interesting twists and turns, the actor will be seen in a dual role for the first time as brothers. The shooting for this flick was wrapped up few months back and the team has decided to release it on October 27 for Diwali.

The four day weekend is expected to collect a good amount for the actor’s production house Wunderbar Films. Among the dual roles, one is a professor, the good one and the other is a politician. The movie also has two leading ladies Anupama Parameshwaran and Trisha. Trisha’s role in the film was also reported to have character with grey shades. Few sources also report that the film is based on the Koodankulam nuclear power plant issue.

The music has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan and the audio launch is expected to take place shortly. The makers Dream Warrior Pictures has also planned to release of its production venture Kashmora starring Karthi, Sri Divya and Nayanthara for Diwali on October 29. It is evident that there is going to be a box office clash between Dhanush and Karthi this Diwali.
