Kutrame Thandanai gets a release date

The National Award winning director Manikandan is ready to hit with his second directorial venture Kutrame Thandanai featuring Vidharth, Pooja Devariya and Aishwarya Rajesh. Produced by the actor's two brothers, the makers have finalised the release date to be September 2. The movie is much expected from all the sides as it has already been praised at Film Festivals like in Mumbai, New York and Kerala.

Speaking about its intense plot, the director revealed in a recent interview that it is a crime thriller revolving around the journey of 5 main leads. There will be no police as such to unravel the murder mystery. Aishwarya Rajesh will be seen in a role with negative shades along with the supporting cast of Rahman, Guru Somasundaram and Nassar.

Another backbone to this flick is Maestro Ilaiyaraaja’s music. There are songs in the film and he has scored only the background music to it which will give a flow to the thriller. Manikandan is also ready with his third film Aandavan Kattalai featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Ritika Singh while Vidharth will start shooting his next film from September 20.
