Trisha’s Nayaki to release on this date

Nayaki, the retro horror thriller featuring Trisha in the titular role as an yesteryear heroine has been successfully released in Telugu on July 15. Following the positive response though failure at the box office, the makers have decided to release the film in Tamil on September 16 for the weekend.

Directed by Govi and produced by Trisha’s Manager Giridhar under Giridhar Production House banner, Sri Thenandal Films has bought the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights for the film. It is likely to clash with two other releases, Uchathula Shiva starring Karan & Neha Ratnakaran and Sadhuram 2, India’s first philanthropic thriller directed by debutant Sumanth Radhakrishnan.

The supporting cast consists of Ganesh Venkatraman in the lead role along with Brahmanandam, Jayaprakash, Satyam Rajesh, Manobala and Kovai Sarala in supporting roles. The reviews from the Tollywood town comes as the same old horror film set in a deserted haunted house and the plot has not matched up with the expectations of the audiences.
