Raees trailer to be launched on SRK’s birthday ??

The shooting of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees was completed long back and it was supposed to release for Eid itself. But the actor postponed it in order to avoid its clash with Salman Khan's Sultan. Finally slated to hit the screens on January 26, 2017 the post production works are going on at a full swing. The recent rumour is that the trailer of the film is likely to be launched on November 2, on SRK’s 51st birthday.

Earlier there were plans to release it along with Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil at the big screens on Diwali. But the new trend followed in Bollywood is that attaching the trailer to a big film release. Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil is having a similar trailer launch along with Shivaay on this Diwali. Also a week before Aamir Khan is releasing his film Dangal trailer in a grand manner.

In order to avoid comparisons with other films, SRK has particularly chosen to wait for a week after both Kaabil and Dangal trailer releases and then reveal his project. We further hear that he will release the trailer in media during the day, then in the social media sites and then he will screen it at night to his friends during the birthday bash on Nov 2. Quite a good promotion !!!
