Kaatru Veliyidai team to fly for Europe

Kollywood filmmakers are very well known for flying to exotic foreign locations to shoot romantic songs in their film but the acclaimed director Mani Ratnam is a different one from them. He finishes all of the romantic songs within India with scenes moving along with the story rather than having proper dance sequences.

A single exception to this can be pointed to one in his film Guru when Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai filmed a song in Turkey. Now there comes another need to shoot a song in abroad in Mani Sir's upcoming film Kaatru Veliyidai. Starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari, the team had planned to film a romantic number in the snow covered hills of Himachal Pradesh.

As they have not got permission to shoot in the Himalayas, eventually the makers have scheduled to move for locations in abroad. They have even scouted the locations at the mountains in Europe for which the team is said to fly shortly. Currently the shooting is progressing at Hyderabad and the makers are eyeing to release this flick in February 2017.
