It’s a wrap for Arya’s Kadamban

Kadamban starring Arya and Catherine Tresa in the leading roles have wrapped up its shooting on November 30. Directed by Ragavan of Manjapai fame and produced by Super Good Films, the makers are now planning to release the film for this Pongal.

If the rumours are believed to be true, it is likely to clash with Vijay’s Bairava, Vishal’s Kaththi Sandai and Santhanam’s Server Sundaram at the box office.It is notable that in Pongal 2012, Vijay’s Nanban and Arya’s Vettai also had a box office clash.

Arya plays a forest tribal in a village called as Kadambavanam as seen from the first look posters and teaser revealed by Karthi, Suriya and Vishal few days back. The actor had worked hard in building up his physique to give his best shot.

In one particular action sequence, Arya had run along with 50 elephants and the scene was specially shot at Chiang Mai, Thailand. They had even spent one lakh for each elephant and almost 5 crore to film the scene over 15 days schedule.
