Director Shankar lauds Chennai 620028 II team

Chennai 620028: Second Innings which released on December 9 in a hush manner has been getting good reviews from the movie critics amidst the prevailing situation in the state. The director Venkat Prabhu has been lauded for its fast screenplay combined with Yuvan’s BGM scores and Praveen K.L’s editing.

The title song of the film which was made from numerous fan videos was beautifully edited by Praveen. Overall, this flick was a good blend of cricket, sentiment, family (in place of love) and above all, friendship. The fact that the same ensemble cast is back after 9 years is not shown in the storyline which makes it even more interesting.

Everyone in the cine industry (like STR, Lingusamy) is in praises for the team and the outstanding one could be from the acclaimed director Shankar who took time to watch this sports drama on the first day itself. The 2.0 maker posted in his Twitter space to congratulate the whole lot as ‘Chennai (28) Super Kings’ for giving a rocking fun and laughter.
