Ranveer Singh - Vani Kapoor’s Befikre Box office report

The much expected release in December month was Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor's Befikre. Though this flick created so much hype among the tinsel town, it had just a decent run at the box office. The opening day collection was 10 crores and the team reasoned the low collection to demonization issue.

However the numbers remained the same throughout the weekend with 11 crores on Saturday, 12 crores on Sunday and as of now, the first weekend collection accounts to 34 crores. The second film that was affected a little by the cash crunch could be Kahaani 2. This Vidya Balan flick was having 1.6 crores on Saturday with a total of 26 crores by this week.

SRK-Alia Bhatt starrer Dear Zindagi was the one movie which is said to have a smooth run despite the prevailing condition. Though the Friday collection was only 55 Lakhs, the positive word of mouth paved way for the film to collect 1.1 crores on Saturday and 1.3 crores on Sunday with a whooping collection of 65 crores in total.
