SRK confirms on Mahira Khan’s arrival to India

The tension between India and Pakistan has affected the smooth release of several Bollywood movies. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena President Raj Thackeray had initially put forward the ban on release of Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil for having the Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in a pivotal role. But then the movie successfully hit the screens on October 28.

The next victim to this effect is Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees which is now facing obstacles before it's release on January 25, 2017. The agitation rose high after the reports started rounding that the Pakistani actress Mahira Khan who is a part of the film was coming to India for its promotion. Even the makers were afraid of having its release postponed due to this issue.

Putting all rumours to rest, the actor himself has met Raj Thackeray on December 13 to ensure that Mahira Khan will not be visiting India. The team will be promoting t Hence the team is confident of having the film releasing on the slated date.
