Another Marathi actress to romance with Santhanam

The television artist turned solo actor Santhanam is said to be bagging meaty projects in the recent past with his upcoming with the talented director Selvaraghavan running on floors. Tentatively titled as Mannavan Vanthanadi, this flick is touted to be a romantic comedy, the genre being the first time for the filmmaker.

The team started the shooting at Ramoji Film City at Hyderabad sometime back with the actor. The leading lady was not yet finalised and we heard big names like the Premam heroine Sai Pallavi and Taapsee Pannu who were all new to pair with Santhanam. But looks like both of them has not nodded to be the part of the project and hence the makers have hunted a new face.

Marathi actress Aaditi Pohankar is signed to play the female lead making her Tamil debut. It is notable that Vaibhavi Shandilya, another Marathi actress has already coupled with Santhanam in his yet to release film Server Sundaram. Produced by Film Department, Selvaraghavan has planned to complete the filming before the end of February.
