Aishwarya Dhanush’s next is a biopic on Mariyappan

Rajinikanth's eldest daughter Aishwarya Dhanush who is donning the hats of direction, production, singing and voice acting for her ventures like 3, Aayirathil Oruvan and Whistle had her last outing into direction in 2015 with Vai Raja Vai.

Later to that there were reports rounding that she is onto making a documentary film on the life of stuntmen titled Cinema Veeran. The official word along with a first look poster of her next has come as her birthday gift from Shah Rukh Khan on January 1 in the social media spaces.

Titled as Mariyappan, it is a biopic based on the Mariyappan Thangavelu, the Paralympics Gold Medal Winner in High Jump from Tamil Nadu in 2016. Touted to be a bilingual made in Tamil and English, Sean Roldan who has been roped by Soundarya Rajinikanth for VIP 2 is the music composer for this flick too.

In the similar fashion, Velraj is retained for cranking the camera. The other members of the technical crew includes Prasanna GK to edit the cuts and director Raju Murugan of Joker fame to pen the dialogues. Though the main lead who will be portrayed as Mariyappan is kept under wraps and will be revealed later.
