Devi Sri Prasad previously paid a tribute to his father by composing a song in the film ‘Nannuku Prematho’. This song was highly appreciated and still remains as a favorite for all his fans.\r\n\r\nAfter a year, DSP is all set to release a single to pay a tribute to his late guru, Mandolin U Shrinivas. Shrinivas was considered as the Mozart of Classical Indian Music. Devi Sri Prasad is an Indian music composer, playback singer and lyricist in Telugu and Tamil films, currently residing in Hyderabad, Telangana.\r\n\r\nPrasad's family moved to Chennai where he completed his schooling and BBA graduation. At school, he studied Kabir dohas and composed tunes for them. Prasad started off by composing tunes for college functions.\r\n\r\nHe gave music to 50–50, a serial on Gemini TV and lent his voice to its title song. Magnasound featured his song \"Ey Unnoda\" in the their collection of Tamil pop songs called Dance Party. Later on, the company released his album, Mr.Devi.\r\n\r\nKamal Haasan chose Prasad for the background score of his film Dasavathaaram. Kamal Haasan called him 'The Showman for his ability to compose, sing, write and perform live shows.\r\n\r\nIn addition to composing, Prasad has provided vocals for his musical works as well.
