Director Shekhar Kapur to direct a biopic on renowned martial artist expert Bruce Lee

Director Shekhar Kapur, who last seen in a crucial role in Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vishwaroop’, is all set to direct a biopic based on legendary martial artist expert Bruce Lee. The director has won several awards for his earlier works as a filmmaker.

The film is titled as ‘Little Dragon’ and the plot will focus on the life of Bruce Lee during 1950’s in Hong Kong. It is also reported that Shannon Lee, daughter of Bruce Lee has expressed her interest to be a part of this film as she wants the world to know about Bruce Lee’s earlier days.

Shannon Lee and Shekhar Kapur have teamed up in writing the screenplay of the film and they both will be producing the biopic in collaboration as well. This film is currently under pre-production and as an added advantage, Shannon has made an extensive research on her father’s early days and this study will be a plus for the biopic.
