Ivan thandhiran gets life

Since the GST bill was passed theater owners were on indefinite shutdown as the state government tax 30% is a burden to pay. So many theaters were closed since Sunday. This has affected the Tamil film industry as it has lined up many movies for release.

Six movies released earlier that Friday, Ivan thandhiran was received positively by the audience and critics. So the movie crews were very hopeful for the weekend and the next consecutive week. But, since Sunday theaters were shutdown Ivan thandhiran was slashed by this decision.

After Tamilnadu government’s peace talk with the theater owners, it is likely that the theaters will function from tomorrow and they are ready to screen Maragadha nanayam and Ivan thandhiran.
