Tollywood's top actress, Charmme is into a lot of trouble recently, after her name had come up in the latest drugs controversy in Tollywood. On 26th July, the actress was seen at the Special Investigation Team (SIT) office to attend the interrogation concerning the drugs scandal. But it is believed that she had faced more issues there.\r\n\r\nCharmme has lodged a complaint with the SIT that a police constable had inappropriately touched her while she was being escorted into the SIT office. It is reported that the actress has added that a few police constables had tried to push and drag her.\r\n\r\nEven though female constables escorted her, a few male police officers were seen to be troubling her. Charmme has ostensibly asked Excise Director, Akun Sabharwal to take an appropriate action against the named constables.

Charmi Kaur is an Indian film actress, who has predominantly appeared in Telugu films as well as few films in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. She acted with stars such as Dileep, Mammootty, Amitabh Bachchan, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Jr. NTR, Prabhas, Siddarth, Ravi Teja, Sumanth, Nitin and  Silambarasan. Charmi gave her voice to Kajal Aggarwal in the film Chandamama (2007).\r\n\r\nShe made her acting debut in the 2002 Telugu film Nee Thodu Kavali, in which she acted as a housewife at a young age of 15.\r\n\r\n
