Santhanam playing lead role in Rajesh’s directorial

Over a decade, Santhanam and director Rajesh has been a successful combination to deliver humour entertainers. But, Santhanam was playing a character artist in all the movies in director Rajesh films, combined with actors like Jiiva, Karthi and Arya. Now Santhanam will be playing the solo lead role in Rajesh’s untitled directorial.

The film is produced by Sri Thenandal Films who is currently producing Mersal movie.The news was officially announced by Sri Thenandal Films propritor Murali’s wife Hema Rukmini on her micro-blogging page last evening. The process of finalizing others in the cast with Santhanam will happen and official word on the title will be made shortly. Right now, Santhanam has lined up ‘Server Sundaram’, ‘Sakka Podu Podu Raja’ and ‘Mannavan Vanthanadi’, which are scheduled at different stages of production.

Server Sundaram, directed by Anand Balki is scheduled for release on September 8.
