Actor Vimal was releasing atleast four or five films every year but after his previous release Mapilai Singam it is been dry and we couldn’t see actor Vimal on screen, almost a year has passed. Now he has acted in Mannar Valaiguda movie directed by Boopathi Pandiyan produced by the actor himself. Vimal has completed the movie Mannar Valaiguda and yesterday he has also announced that he will be starting up two new projects very soon.\r\n\r\nVasanthamani who previously released Vetrivel is now directing a new movie with D Imman in the music and Samuthirakani in an important role and he is also going to direct Kalavani second part. Kalavani which was released in the year 2010 was a super hit directed by Sargunam. In this second part Vimal soori Kanja Karuppu are roped in and in the first part it was Oviya who was opposite to Vimal.  In Kalavani part two heroine is not yet decided.

Vimal is an Indian film actor, who appears in Tamil films. Following cameo appearances in the Vijay-starrer Ghilli and Kuruvi and Ajith Kumar's Kireedam, he played the lead role in Pandiraj's critically acclaimed Pasanga (2009). Subsequently, he played lead roles in several low-budget productions. He established himself as a successful upcoming actor with Kalavani (2010), Vaagai Sooda Vaa (2011), Kalakalappu (2012) and Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga (2013).
