Vijay Sethupathi is Yaman for Gautham Karthik

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is in a spree of making movies. Vijay Sethupathi, who consistently keeps his movies being released. This year has already witnessed Kavan, Vikram Vedha and Puriyaatha Puthir hitting screens following which his ‘Karuppan’ is hitting screens next week. Meanwhile, he has already completed shooting many films that includes debut filmmaker Aarumuga Kumar directorial Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren, which also features Gautham Karthik in lead role. The first look of this film unveiled recently is getting decent reception. Vijay Sethupathi’s character is named ‘Yaman’, which makes everyone pretty much confused.

Aarumuga Kumar reveals that in villages and rural areas, people who worship Karuppasamy as their celestial deity would name the newborn babies as Karuppan. Similarly, this film will focus on a tribal group that worship Yama Dharma Raja and henceforth, their leaders will be ennobled as Yaman, which is rendered by Vijay Sethupathi.
