Actor Jiiva turns to serious mode after 'Ko'

Director Raju Murugan is well known for his Cuckoo and Joker. Joker brought him big name and national award as it had a good message and screenplay. After making heads turn with his last movie Joker, director Raju Murugan is all set to director Jiiva for a movie titled Gypsy. The word gypsy means nomad or traveller so the story supposedly should be about a traveller.

The director himself said that, It will be a travel based film and Jiiva will be playing the lead. The film will be produced by S Ambedkumar of Olympia Movies. Unlike Raju Murugan's earlier movies, Cuckoo and Joker, sources say Gypsy will be a commercial entertainer with a subtle social message. Gypsy will be shot across the country. The pre-production work has begun and soon the team will start shooting for the movie. Remember Jiiva awaits release of Kakalappu 2 in which he plays a comical role.
