Gautham Karthik in D16 director's Nadaga Medai

Karthik Naren debuted as a director through the film Dhuruvangal 16. There was an overwhelming response for this film. After this, he directed a film titled Naragasooran which has Aravind Swami, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sandeep Kishan, Shriya and Aathmika. The post-production works of this film are in the final stages.

Few days back, Karthik Naren titled his new film as Naadaga Medai. Ron Ethan Yohan will be composing the music while Sujith Sarang will handle the camera. Sujith Sarang is also in charge of editing. The film is to be produced by Knight Nostalgia Filmotainment. It was said that talks are being held with the popular hero Jayaraman’s son Kalidas for the lead role.

But now, Gautham Karthik has been on talks to play the protagonist. Of course, neither the production house nor the actors have made any official confirmation regarding these rumours.
