Meera Chopra is an Indian actress who has worked across Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema, debuting in Tamil films under the screen name Nila with Anbe Aaruyire (2005) opposite S. J. Surya. Her breakthrough Hindi role came in Section 375 (2019), directed by Ajay Bahl, where she played Anjali Dangle, a costume assistant at the center of a rape trial opposite Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chaddha. In Safed (2023), directed by Sandeep Singh, she portrayed Kaali, a widow in Varanasi who enters an unconventional romance with a transgender character, showcasing her range beyond mainstream commercial roles.
