• Vikas Anand and Yunus Parvez first shared screen space in 'Bahu Ki Awaaz' (1985) because the director needed two actors who could convincingly play shady relatives in a family drama. Neither was a star yet, so they were cast together as a package deal to save budget.
• In 'Aurat Teri Yehi Kahani' (1988), Anand played the aggressive husband while Parvez played the manipulative father-in-law. They developed a silent signal on set: Parvez would tap his watch when Anand's dialogue delivery got too fast, forcing Anand to slow down and let the tension breathe.
• During the shoot of 'Mera Naseeb' (1989), Anand and Parvez shared a room in a cheap hotel in Ooty for three weeks. Parvez would cook simple meals on a portable stove because neither could afford the hotel's restaurant. They remained friends after the film, but never worked together again.
