• Aadhi was still a newcomer when Jayaprakash, already a respected character actor, personally recommended him for the lead in 'Ayyanar' (2010) after they met on a short film set. The director was hesitant about casting a fresh face, but Jayaprakash insisted.
• In 'Vallinam' (2014), Jayaprakash played Aadhi's on-screen father. Off-screen, he would deliberately break character during rehearsals to make Aadhi laugh, loosening him up for emotionally heavy scenes. Aadhi later said that trick helped him cry on cue.
• Their third film together, 'Sarrainodu' (2016), was a Telugu remake that introduced Aadhi to a pan-Indian audience. Jayaprakash pushed for the Tamil dub to retain Aadhi's original voice, which became a talking point among fans who preferred it over the Telugu version.
• After 'Ayyanar' wrapped, Jayaprakash gifted Aadhi a vintage watch with the film's release date engraved on the back. Aadhi still wears it to every film launch, including his own directorial debut.
