• Saptagiri was cast in Varudu Kaavalenu (2021) because director Lakshmi Sowjanya specifically wanted a comedian who could hold his own against Naga Chaitanya's straight-man energy. She picked Saptagiri after seeing his timing in a small YouTube skit — not from a film.
• In Pakka Commercial (2022), Praveen and Saptagiri built their comic rhythm by trading one-liners in real time on set. The director let them rewrite their scenes together because their natural banter was faster than the scripted dialogue.
