• Vennela Kishore wasn't originally in Pushpa. Allu Arjun personally insisted the director bring him on board for the comic relief role, because he felt only Kishore could match his rhythm in those tense-but-funny scenes.
• In S/O Satyamurthy (2015), Allu Arjun deliberately slowed down his dialogue delivery in their scenes together. He told Kishore to take the lead on timing, so Kishore's stammering, panicked energy could set the pace for the comedy.
• On the sets of Duvvada Jagannadham (2017), the two would improvise entire alternate versions of their scenes after the director yelled 'cut'. Some of those ad-libs made it into the final film, but most are lost — Kishore once said they were funnier than what released.
