• For Simla Special (1982), director R. Sundarrajan paired Delhi Ganesh and S. Ve. Shekher as a comedy duo for the first time. Shekher was already a stage star, but Ganesh's deadpan timing made the pairing click instantly.
• In Chidambara Rahasiyam (1985), Delhi Ganesh played the straight man to S. Ve. Shekher's over-the-top antics. Ganesh would deliberately slow down his delivery to force Shekher to pause and react — a trick that made their comic rhythm tighter.
