• Saptagiri and Shakalaka Shankar first met on the sets of 'Intelligent Idiots' (2015) — but they weren't supposed to be a pair. The director cast them separately, then realized their timing clicked so well that he rewrote scenes to keep them together.
• In 'Saptagiri LLB' (2017), Shankar played the straight man to Saptagiri's chaos. Shankar would deliberately pause his lines a beat longer than written, forcing Saptagiri to fill the silence with improvised stammering — that stammer became the film's running gag.
• During the shoot of 'Selfie Raja' (2016), the two shared a hotel room for three weeks because the budget was too tight for separate rooms. They still joke that they know each other's snoring patterns better than their own families do.
