• They first shared screen space in 'Evare Athagadu' (2003), but the pairing that clicked was in 'Pellaina Kothalo' (2006) — a film where Brahmanandam’s character is literally the comic relief in Priyamani’s wedding drama. The director said he cast them together because Priyamani’s straight-faced reactions made Brahmanandam’s over-the-top antics land harder.
• In 'Ragada' (2010), Brahmanandam improvised a whole 3-minute monologue about a missing goat during a scene where Priyamani was supposed to just nod. She broke character twice, and the director kept the takes because her genuine laughter made the scene funnier.
• Their 2008 film 'Hare Ram' — despite its 3.8/10 rating — became a cult hit on Telugu TV reruns specifically because of a 10-second exchange where Brahmanandam calls Priyamani 'Amma' and she deadpans back 'Nee amma kaadhu raa'. That line is still used as a meme in Andhra WhatsApp groups.
• On the sets of 'Mitrudu' (2009), Priyamani would bring Brahmanandam homemade biryani every Friday because she found out he was eating only idlis between shots. He later said in a 2012 interview that she 'fed him like a daughter' — even though she was the younger actor.
• Brahmanandam once told a Telugu magazine: 'Priyamani is the only heroine who never complained when I stretched a scene. She’d just sit there and let me cook. That’s rare.'
