• Kushboo was the one who pushed for Radha Ravi to be cast as her father in 'Chinna Thambi' (1991). The director wanted a different actor, but she insisted he had the right gravitas for the role.
• In 'En Kitta Mothathey' (1990), Radha Ravi played the strict father while Kushboo played the rebellious daughter. Their scenes worked because he set the stern tone, and she bounced off it with raw emotion — no rehearsal, just instinct.
• On the sets of 'Veeram Velanja Mannu' (1998), Kushboo and Radha Ravi had a running joke: every time a scene required them to argue, they'd compete to see who could finish their lines fastest without flubbing. Radha Ravi usually won.
