• Robo Shankar was a last-minute replacement in 'Oodi Oodi Uzhaikanum' (2017). The original actor dropped out days before shooting. Anandaraj personally vouched for Shankar to the director, saying he'd seen his stage work and knew he could handle the comic timing the role needed.
• In 'Aalambana' (2023), Anandaraj deliberately slowed down his delivery in every scene with Robo Shankar. He told the crew he wanted Shankar's rapid-fire one-liners to land harder by contrast.
