• For Jayam (2002), Teja was a newcomer who had never acted before. Sadha was already a known face. The director N. Shankar picked Teja specifically because he wanted a fresh face opposite Sadha — and that film ended up launching both their careers in Telugu.
• In Avunanna Kadanna (2005), Sadha’s character is the one who drives the emotional beats — she sets the pace in every confrontation scene. Teja later admitted in an interview that he learned to react naturally on screen by watching how she held silences.
• After Jayam became a hit, Sadha and Teja stayed close friends for years. They even celebrated each other’s birthdays together until around 2010. But after Teja moved into production and Sadha shifted focus to Tamil films, they completely lost touch — no calls, no texts for over a decade.
• The success of Jayam (2002) directly inspired a Tamil remake of the same name in 2003 — starring Sadha again, but with a different male lead. That Tamil version became a cult hit in its own right, but the original Telugu pairing of Sadha and Teja is still the one fans compare it to.
• Teja once said in a 2005 interview: 'Sadha doesn't just act — she listens. That made me look like a better actor than I was.' He was talking about how she would adjust her timing to match his nervous energy during their early scenes together.
• Their third film Ahimsa (2023) almost didn't happen. Teja had to personally convince Sadha to come out of a semi-retirement for the role. She agreed only after he sent her the full script — and then insisted on a single continuous shot for their climactic scene together.
