• Chinni Jayanth and Napoleon first shared screen space in Munarivippu (1993) because the director wanted a pair of actors who looked like they could actually be brothers — and both were cast as siblings in the film.
• In Seevalaperi Pandi (1994), Napoleon played the fierce antagonist while Chinni Jayanth played the comic sidekick — their scenes together worked because Napoleon set a dead-serious tone and Chinni bounced off it with improvised one-liners that the director kept in the final cut.
