• J.D. Chakravarthy was a newcomer from Bombay when he signed Money (1993). Jayasudha, already a huge star, agreed to do the film only after the director Siva Prasad showed her Chakravarthy's audition tape. She later said his raw energy convinced her to take a chance on a debutant.
• In Money Money (1995), Jayasudha deliberately slowed down her dialogue delivery in every scene with Chakravarthy. She told the director that his natural rhythm was faster, so she matched his pace to make their banter feel like a real argument — not a rehearsed one.
• During the shoot of Deyyam (1996), Chakravarthy was struggling with Telugu diction. Jayasudha would sit with him after pack-up and run his lines line by line, correcting his pronunciation. She did this for every single scene they shared.
• The success of Money (1993) directly led to the sequel Money Money (1995). But here's the thing — the sequel was originally planned without Jayasudha. The producers rewrote the script to bring her character back only after test audiences demanded more of her and Chakravarthy's on-screen bickering.
• Jayasudha once said in an interview: 'Chakravarthy was like a younger brother on set. He would get nervous before romantic scenes, so I'd tease him until he relaxed. That's why our fights in Money look so real — we were actually laughing half the time.'
