• Brahmanandam was the one who suggested Dev Gill for the villain role in Krishnarjuna (2008). He had seen Dev's work in a small role and told the director, 'This guy has the face of a proper antagonist.' That recommendation got Dev his first major Telugu film.
• In Naayak (2013), Brahmanandam improvised an entire comedy scene where he keeps mispronouncing Dev Gill's character name. Dev had to hold back laughter in every take. The director kept the first take because Dev's suppressed smile actually made the scene funnier.
• During Rachcha (2012) shoot, Dev Gill and Brahmanandam shared a vanity van for two weeks because the unit ran out of rooms. Brahmanandam would make Dev practice Telugu dialogues every morning. Dev later said that van time taught him more Telugu than any class.
• Brahmanandam once told a magazine: 'Dev Gill is the only villain who made me forget my lines because I was too busy watching him act. I told him, you're wasting your talent being a bad guy — but he enjoys it too much.'
• Their back-and-forth in Krishnarjuna (2008) — where Brahmanandam's comic timing directly countered Dev Gill's deadpan menace — became a template for Telugu films pairing a comedian with a silent, intense villain. At least three later films (including Baadshah and Sarrainodu) copied that exact dynamic.
