• Charmy and Srikanth first paired up in 'Neeke Manasichaanu' (2003) because the director thought their contrasting energies — her bubbly, him reserved — would create a fresh romantic tension. Srikanth later admitted he was nervous about matching her spontaneity.
• In 'Michael Madana Kamaraju' (2008), Srikanth played a double role while Charmy played a single character. She had to react differently to each version of him in the same scene — and she did it without rehearsal, matching his pace on the fly. The director said she made his job easier.
