• They first met on the sets of Goa (2010) because director Venkat Prabhu deliberately paired them as a comic duo — Vaibhav was the nervous newcomer and Anandaraj was the seasoned villain, but Venkat told them to play it like two clueless friends instead.
• In LKG (2019), Anandaraj played Vaibhav's father — but the comedy came from Anandaraj deliberately underplaying every line, forcing Vaibhav to overreact and carry the scene's energy. Vaibhav later said Anandaraj would whisper 'slow down' mid-take to make him panic on cue.
• Anandaraj personally recommended Vaibhav for a role in a 2021 web series that never got made — the producer told Anandaraj he wanted a 'bigger name', and Anandaraj walked out of the project entirely.
• Their Aalambana (2023) became a sleeper hit in the 40+ crore club, and directly inspired a Telugu remake offer for the same duo — but Vaibhav turned it down because Anandaraj's character was being rewritten as a younger actor.
