J. K. Rithesh (born 5 March 1973, Kandy, Sri Lanka) was a Tamil cinema actor and politician who served as a DMK Member of Parliament from Ramanathapuram constituency in the 15th Lok Sabha. He is best remembered for his pivotal negative role as politician Ramraj Pandian in the political satire LKG (2019), directed by K. R. Prabhu, which proved to be his final film. Earlier in his career, he appeared in Pen Singam (2010), directed by Bali Srirangam and based on M. Karunanidhi's novel Surulimalai. He passed away on 13 April 2019 at age 46 due to cardiac arrest, shortly after the release of LKG.
