• Aruldoss was the one who pushed for Mahima Nambiar to be cast in Maga Muni (2019). He had seen her work in Malayalam and told the director she'd bring a raw energy the script needed. The director was hesitant initially — Mahima wasn't a known name in Tamil then.
• In Ayngaran (2022), Aruldoss deliberately slowed down his dialogue delivery in every scene with Mahima. He told the set that her silence was the real weapon — he wanted to create space for her micro-expressions to land. The director kept the takes because of that rhythm.
• During the Naadu (2023) shoot, Mahima and Aruldoss had a running bet: whoever flubbed a line first had to buy the entire crew filter coffee from the nearest stall. Aruldoss lost every single day. By the end of the schedule, the crew had 30 cups of coffee on his tab.
