• Jackie Shroff was the one who pushed for Rani Mukerji to be cast in 'Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye' (2000). The director wanted a different actress, but Jackie insisted Rani had the right energy for the role.
• On the sets of 'Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai' (2001), Jackie would deliberately mess up his lines to make Rani laugh during serious scenes. She later said it helped her loosen up and deliver a more natural performance.
