• Director T. L. V. Prasad was a Telugu filmmaker who jumped into Hindi B-movies in the late 90s. He cast Jackie Shroff in three films back-to-back because Jackie was the only star willing to work on his tight budgets and faster schedules — no questions asked.
• On the set of 'Ganga Ki Kasam' (1998), Jackie Shroff reportedly improvised most of his action sequences because Prasad's Hindi film crew was inexperienced with stunts. Jackie would choreograph his own fights, then Prasad would just point the camera and roll.
• Jackie Shroff never complained about Prasad's low budgets. Instead, he brought his own costumes from home for all three films — including the leather jacket he wore in 'Phool Aur Aag' (1999), which was actually his personal jacket from the 80s.
• The only reason these three films exist is because T. L. V. Prasad needed a bankable Hindi star to sell his movies to North Indian distributors. Jackie Shroff was the cheapest A-lister available at the time — and Prasad used that to launch a string of 12 Hindi films in just 4 years.
• Jackie Shroff once told a trade magazine: 'Prasad saab ne mujhe bina pooche hi film mein daal diya. Main set pe gaya toh pata chala main hero hoon.' (Prasad sir put me in the film without even asking. I went to the set and found out I was the hero.)
