• Nassar was the one who suggested Mehreen for Mahanubhavudu (2017) after seeing her in a Tamil film. The director was initially hesitant because she was relatively unknown in Telugu, but Nassar pushed for her audition.
• In F2 (2019), Nassar deliberately slowed down his dialogue delivery in their scenes together. He told Mehreen it would make her reactions land harder. She later said that trick taught her how to use silence as a tool in comedy.
• During the shoot of Chanakya (2019), Nassar would quiz Mehreen on Telugu film history between takes. She later admitted she learned more about old Telugu cinema from those 10-minute breaks than from any film school.
