Gadde Babu Rajendra Prasad is a Telugu cinema actor born on 19 July 1956 in Nimmakuru, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, widely regarded as the 'King of Comedy' in Telugu film industry with a career spanning over 45 years and more than 200 films. He won the Nandi Award for Best Actor twice — for Erra Mandaram (1991) and Aa Naluguru (2004) — and has also received three SIIMA Awards and three Santosham Film Awards. He is known for his comic timing in films like Appula Appa Rao (1992) and Mayalodu (1993), and transitioned into strong supporting roles in mainstream hits like Julai (2012) starring Trivikram Srinivas and Allu Arjun. In 2015, he was elected President of the Movie Artists Association (MAA), defeating veteran actress Jayasudha.
