• Sampath Raj and Surekha Vani first shared screen space in Jilla (2014), but they barely had a scene together. It was only on the sets of Rarandoi Veduka Chudham (2017) that they actually spoke — and realized they both grew up in the same neighborhood in Chennai.
• In Viswasam (2019), Sampath Raj played the villain who torments Surekha Vani's character. She later said in an interview that his intense stare during their confrontation scene made her genuinely flinch — and the director kept that first take because her reaction was real.
• During the shoot of Rarandoi Veduka Chudham (2017), Sampath Raj would bring homemade biryani for the crew every Friday. Surekha Vani jokingly called him 'the biryani villain' — and the nickname stuck so hard that the unit still uses it.
