• Imman Annachi and Yogi Babu first met on the set of Paandiyoda Galatta Thaangala (2016) — but they weren't supposed to share screen time. The director, S. N. Prasad, saw them improvising during a lunch break and rewrote a scene on the spot to pair them together.
• In Butler Balu (2019), Yogi Babu would deliberately flub his lines to make Imman Annachi break character. Imman would then retaliate by adding random Tamil proverbs mid-scene. The director kept rolling because the genuine laughter worked better than the script.
• Their double-act in Jeyikkira Kuthira (2017) directly inspired the comedy track in the 2023 hit Maaveeran — the writer admitted in an interview that he rewatched their scenes to study how two comedians could carry a subplot without a lead actor.
