• Meera Krishnan and Delhi Ganesh first shared screen space in 'Dancer' (2005) because the director needed a mother-son duo that could pull off a tense family confrontation in one long take. Ganesh was cast first, and he personally recommended Meera after seeing her stage work — he told the director she'd match his rhythm without rehearsal.
• In 'Maasilamani' (2009), their scenes together have zero cuts — they insisted on playing every argument in real time. Ganesh would deliberately speed up his lines mid-scene, and Meera would slow hers down to throw him off. The director said they turned every take into a game of who breaks first.
• On the sets of 'Angali Pangali' (2016), Meera and Ganesh had a running bet: whoever flubbed a line first had to buy the entire crew filter coffee from the stall outside. Ganesh lost 7 times in one day. He still paid up every time.
