• Before Billa (2009), Anushka and Prabhas had never shared screen space. Director Meher Ramesh paired them specifically because he wanted a fresh, tall couple — both are over 5'8" — to match the slick, stylized action vibe of the film.
• In Mirchi (2013), Prabhas played a silent, brooding lover while Anushka’s character was the bubbly, talkative one. She improvised most of her comic lines on set, and Prabhas would deliberately pause his reactions to let her jokes land — a rhythm they perfected over multiple takes.
• Baahubali (2015) made them the first Telugu on-screen couple to gross over ₹1000 crore globally together. That record stood until RRR (2022).
• During Baahubali 2 (2017) shoot, Anushka and Prabhas had a running joke: every time a scene required them to run toward each other, Prabhas would slow down mid-shot to make her laugh. Director S.S. Rajamouli had to yell 'cut' multiple times because of it.
