• Jagapathi Babu and Rambha first came together for 'Allari Premikudu' (1994) because the director, K. Raghavendra Rao, wanted a fresh pair. He picked Jagapathi Babu right after his debut and paired him with Rambha, who was already a rising star — the gamble worked and the film ran for 100 days.
• In 'Allari Premikudu', Rambha’s bubbly energy set the pace for Jagapathi Babu’s more restrained comic timing. He later admitted she made him loosen up on screen — their rhythm came from her pushing him to react faster in scenes.
