• Nageswara Reddy didn't want to cast Vishnu in 'Dhenikaina Ready' (2012). He thought Vishnu was too big a star for a small comedy. Vishnu personally called him and said, 'I want to do a full-length comedy. Trust me.' That one call started their three-film run.
• On the sets of 'Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam' (2016), Vishnu would deliberately overact in the first take. Nageswara Reddy would then pull him aside and whisper, 'Do it like you're talking to your friend, not the audience.' Vishnu later said that note changed how he approached comedy entirely.
• The success of 'Achari America Yaatra' (2018) directly led to Nageswara Reddy getting the green light for his next film 'Raju Gari Gadhi 3' — a horror-comedy that wouldn't have been made if this pair hadn't proven that a Vishnu-led comedy could work in the US backdrop.
• During the shoot of 'Dhenikaina Ready', Vishnu's father (actor-producer Mohan Babu) visited the set unannounced. Nageswara Reddy was so nervous he forgot his lines. Vishnu cracked a joke, broke the tension, and the two of them still laugh about that day — they call it 'the father-in-law test'.
• Nageswara Reddy said in a 2018 interview: 'Vishnu is the only hero who will do a scene 15 times until the comedy lands perfectly. He doesn't care about his image. He just wants the laugh.'
