• In Tholubommalata (2019), Kishore would deliberately flub his lines during rehearsals to throw Dhanraj off, forcing him to improvise on the spot. Dhanraj later said that habit made him quicker and more alert in every take.
• Vennela Kishore and Dhanraj Sukhram first shared screen space in Kathanam (2019) because the director, Anish Krishna, needed two actors who could switch between deadpan comedy and genuine menace in the same scene. Kishore was already cast; he personally recommended Dhanraj after seeing him in a stage play.
